Honda ASV
Safety for everyone. That is the trademark of Honda on its ASV systems. ASV is standing for Advanced Safety Vechicle which implemented by the Japanese Land, Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry for 2-wheel and vechicle advance safety.
ASV project has actually begun on 1991, and still continued for its 3rd part of ASV in 2001. And now pursuing on ASV-3. Lets take a look on ASV-3.
It is a technology that 4-wheel vechicle and 2-wheel vechicle having positive communication for understand each others and avoid accident. Also, it is included the pedesterians too.
How it works? On the traffic lightless junction the car will recognise from information of navigator. And the car will slowl down the speed as the car get closer to the stop line. In the same time lighting the signal.
The system will locate the other vechile around the car, and showed it on navigator to support safety driving. It also detect pedestarian by reconizing cellphone. Then, it locate the pedestarian location and show it on the navigator. The pedestarian is detected by built-in camera and show it on the display. Automaticaly the system take control of brake to slow down the car for prevent collision.
As human can recognize human face by eyes and lips, the system resembles it on recognizing motocyecle by detecting the motocycle is relatively longer. By that it can controling the car speed. Even the motocycle is in hard to see place, it will notice it. The sensor of motocycle is on its helmet.
On the sharp curved corner, where cars from opposide come, it is hard to see from a distance. But with the system, it will communicate with the nearer cars and give warning on the accelarion padal, and the stereng. In fact, the system will recognize the road as curvy and will adjust the speed adequately.
On the night, to prevent glaring eyes on driver, it will send information whenever car from opposite side is comming. It is automatically change from high beam and low beam.
Besides, it will inform if any traffic jam on the near location. And the car transmit signal for detecting any sudden front movement. If an accident happens, the system will tighten the seatbelt and send the accident information through the internet.

Nintendo News on E3
Nintendo has annouced, on July 15, at E3 Media Art Business Summit, Los Angeles, the new add-on Wii MotionPlus and its applied games. By attaching the MotionPlus on the Wii remocon, the motion control will become more intuitive. The first game that take the advantage of the add-on is Wii Sports Resort which take seashore as the theme. It will be released on spring 2009 in Japan.
Besides, music simulation Wii Music, and microphone Wii Speak also will be released too in this year. However, the first game that using microphone will be Animal Crossing: City Folk.
For Nintendo DS games, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Guitar Hero On Tour: Decade also have been introduced.

Fuel Cell Powered and Electric Vechicles
On the time of gasoline’s price crisis in Malaysia, let take a look of future of automobile without depeding on gasoline. These name ‘fuel cell powered vehicle’ and ‘electric vechicle’ which are currently on researching.
As the gasoline is not everlasting source and it is not environment friendly, which emit a lot of CO2 on it processes, has made big car maker players to think and research how to overcome the problems. Only 2 types of cars stated above are going to be the keywords for future’s automotive. They emit zero CO2, don’t contiminate our Earth.
Yet the proces of making the car in factory still emit CO2, but in the next time by using solar and wind force, it has been said to be cleaner. Anyway, lets see one by one the specifications of two future’s vechicles.
In fuel cell powered vechicle, by chemical reaction fuel cell are used to generate electical energy. Example of chemical reaction is, bringing O2 in contact with H2, within a controlled environment produce electrical energy. The only by-product of this particular process would be only H2O. But the cost for running 1km is appreantly high. It take about ¥30 for that milage.
In the other hand, electric car, is need to be charged before it can be used. The mechanism is the same, i think, with the traditional battery charging. More is here. Moreover, it just only take ¥1 for running 1km. But the problem is it needs a lot of time for full-charge (approximately 12~14 hours). However, Tokyo Denki has developed the High Speed Recharging machine that reduce it into less than an hour (20~30 mins). The price for the machine is appoximate ¥3,000,000 for one and will be located at supermarket, convenience store and so on.
In the nutshell, as we know everthing is not longlasting and needed to be replaced. Human being, animal, everything will die, but they succeed with new generation. As well as in automotive world, new thing should be in research and be implemented in the incomming time.

Virtual Reality
Thanks to the vast development of computer technology, it changed our daily lives. Inside it, recently, the advancement of computer graphic has been highly assessed.
Traditionaly, CRT(no longer used in Japan) and LCD display panels are used for computer and human to interchange information. With the computer processor, all information of pictures and figures can be drawn on the screen. It has been used on everything, on computer (of course), vehicle, aeroplane and so on.
On the future (now on research), display going to move into 3D. You even realize of being on the screen. It is what people call the virtual reality. It is the world where images come into your left and right eyes are different. So that human can feel three-dimensional thing because the distant of an object is different in both eyes. Try to get closer and the image will become bigger.

30% of Smokers used TASPO, Antecedent of 2 Perfectures
For prevent under-age smoker, Taspo was implemented. Taspo is an IC card that allows cigarette vending machines to recognize users are adult or not. Still, smokers applying for Taspo reamained at 8% in June 16th 2008, as reported by Japan Tabacco Association.
Taspo has been introduced, antecedenly in 21 Perfectures on May, and the rest of country on July 2008. On that time, when consumer doesn’t have the Taspo they can not buy cigarettes. The half of cigeratte’s sell is by its vending machines. Consequently, it was assumed to be possilbity of person to stop smoking will gain.
In April 13th, 2,170,674 smokers applied for Taspo, 8% of the country’s smokers of 26,000,0000 people.
The introduction of Taspo is different for perfectures. In Miyazaki and Kagoshima Perfectures were actually introduced to Taspo on May 2008. Yet, the persentage of smokers using Taspo is remaing 30%.

QoS
QoS or quality of service is an another service on computer networking besides best effort type. On best effort, the servers try thier best to transmit information, but if any packet loss they may say sorry. But on QoS, in real time application, there are relays sensitive data need to give a high priority. One of QoS systems is diffserv. Diffserv is used in VoIP, i think.
More band, lessing relay, jitter, and packet loss. How to realize the priotizer.

Data and voice communication is on coorperated network. The extension of telephone line are ISDN, and ATM. And the extension of internet line are IntServ and DiffServ
